S3Chem is a project implemented under the Interreg Europe 2014-2020 programme. Its main objective is to improve the implementation of regional innovation strategies in the field of chemical and related sectors, supported by interregional exchange and multilateral learning process between several European chemical regions. The essence of the project is the high involvement of stakeholders (enterprises, clusters, research and development institutions) operating in the chemical industry in a given region.
The Mazowieckie Voivodeship is one of the seven project partners whose specific objectives relate to:
- close cooperation with regional stakeholders of the innovation system in the field of chemistry, functioning clusters and networks to improve the governance (triple helix) of regional innovation strategies in the field of specialization including the chemical sector.
- use of good practices of European chemical regions.
- formulate recommendations for improving regional policy instruments focused on the chemical sector and related.
In addition to the participation of the Mazowieckie Voivodeship, the project partnership includes the following regions:
- Saxony-Anhalt (Germany), Ministry of Science and Economy - lead partner (project leader),
- Limburg (Netherlands),
- Lombardy (Italy),
- Catalonia (Spain),
- Asturias (Spain),
- Wallonia (Belgium).
The main Mazovian stakeholders of the project are:
- Mazovian Valley of Green Chemistry
- Mazovian Chemical Cluster
- ARM S.A.
- Płock Industrial and Technological Park S.A.
At the current stage of the project, the task of regional stakeholders is to:
- exchange of experience and information between the Parties in the chemical sector, taking into account the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic;
- consulting documents created as part of the S3Chem project;
- cooperation in creating a joint analysis, which is the main product of the S3Chem project.
- The project is being implemented in two stages (cooperation and monitoring) in the years 2016-2022.
The implementation of the project is based on the preparation by all project partners of thematic reports on the implementation of regional innovation strategies and the use of available financial instruments to support innovation in the regions.
START EASY is a project under the Interreg Europe program that aims to improve regional policy and provide smart tools that will enable companies to start up and grow, connect and integrate the "Think Small First" principles.
The project aims to promote inter-regional exchange of experience, pooling regional knowledge and providing opportunities for mutual learning, and facilitating the development of common policies and new action plans. Increasing the education of the local community will contribute to reducing fears related to starting a new business, and thus to increasing the number of newly established companies and startups.
Mazowsze Development Agency S.A. acts as a partner in a consortium consisting of:

The project is being implemented in two stages: Phase I of the project will last until July 31, 2022, Phase II (implementation) until July 31, 2023.
The project's task is to identify good practices and new administrative tools, both through stakeholder consultations and learning from other EU regions. Increasing the education of the local community will contribute to reducing fears related to starting a new business, and thus to increasing the number of newly established companies and startups.
The essence of the project is to obtain information from the subregions on the current situation, what needs to be changed, how the procedure for setting up a business operates, what the situation of start-up companies looks like, and what services the local administration provides to its entrepreneurs.
The Płock Industrial and Technological Park together with the Mazowieckie Voivodship, the Capital City of Warsaw, other Local Government Units, Business Environment Institutions, start-ups, SMEs and scientific institutes form the Regional Stakeholder Group, which analyzes the needs in the above-mentioned areas at the local level. scope, identifies good practices, identifies problems and difficulties, and jointly seeks solutions. The developed practices will be included in the regional action plan, and in the second phase implemented in selected subregions.

On December 23, 2010, the Management Board of PPPT S.A. signed with the Mazowieckie Voivodeship Self-Government an agreement to co-finance a key project under the European Regional Development Fund, Priority I "Creating conditions for the development of innovation and entrepreneurship potential in Mazowsze", Measure 1.4 "Strengthening business environment institutions" of the Regional Operational Program of the Mazowieckie Voivodeship 2007-2013.
The project includes the creation of new cubature facilities within the Płock Industrial and Technological Park, which will meet the needs of current and future investors and partners of the Park. The subject of the project is the design and construction of a complex of facilities: the Corporate Services Center with land development and the Central Laboratory with land development.
Total value of the project: PLN 54,442,900.00.
Value of ERDF co-financing: PLN 38,850,900.85.
The project was co-financed by the Sectoral Operational Program Improvement of the Competitiveness of Enterprises 2004-2006, Measure 1.3 "Creating favorable conditions for the development of companies", Managing Authority: Agencja Rozwoju Przemysłu S.A.
As part of the project, the following were carried out:
- Administrative and Conference Center in Płock with an area of approx. 5,000 m2 (2005) - Renovation, modernization and reconstruction of the former Environmental Protection School Complex in Płock at ul. Zglenickiego 42 and construction works to adapt these facilities for administrative and office functions with auxiliary functions and land development as well as equipment for the facilities of the PPP-T Administrative Center,
- Water and sewage infrastructure in zones 3 - 6 of the PPP-T, approx. 26.9 km long (2006)
- Telecommunications infrastructure in zones 3 - 6 PPP-T with a length of approx. 4.4 km of optical fiber (2006)
- Central heating network in zones 3 - 6 PPP-T, approx. 3.4 km long (2006)
- Internal road network in zones 3 - 6 PPP-T, approx. 9.3 km long (2006)
